Thank You, Buford! Our Health Hero Day 2026 Recap
This week, our STARS Integrative Care with TMS team had the joy of joining Health Hero Day at the
Community Resource Center in Buford — and were still smiling about it.
From the moment we set up our table, we were reminded why we opened our doors in this community:
the people. We met families, students, working professionals, retirees, and caregivers from every walk of life.
We heard stories in more than one language, answered questions about everything from stress
and sleep, blood pressure, and weight management, and shared a lot of laughs (and a lot of pens).
A Heartfelt Thank You
Community events like this don’t happen by accident. We want to sincerely thank the Health Hero Day
organizers and the Community Resource Center team for their hospitality and for creating a welcoming
space where local health resources and neighbors could connect. We’re also grateful to our fellow
exhibitors — it was inspiring to stand alongside so many organizations working to make our community
healthier.
And most of all—thank you to everyone who stopped by our table. Whether you took a free self-check,
asked a question, or simply said hello, you made our day.
What We Shared at Our Table
One highlight of the day was our free, confidential mental health self-checks. Visitors could scan a QR
code and complete a quick, private screening right from their phone in just a few minutes:
• Depression Self-Check
• Anxiety Self-Check
• Adult ADHD Self-Check
• Bipolar Self-Check
These tools are not a diagnosis—but they’re a helpful, judgment-free first step toward understanding
how you’re feeling and whether it may be time to talk with a professional.
